Introduction of a decentralised EPRx system

This project involved the evaluation of a surgical ward with a decentralised medication unit using Electronic prescribing and closed loop administration with bar-coding of the patient. MICE Associates worked as consultant to MDG Medical who developed the system. MICE provided project management support to MDG to support the trust. Initial assessment saw a reduction of medication errors of 50%.
